Chabad: 20 Years and growing.
Our next step forward.
Get involved!
Twenty years ago, Chabad of Briarcliff-Ossining opened its doors with the mission of reaching every Jew in the area: one Jew at a time, one mitzvah at a time.
Fast forward twenty years. Chabad purchased a building, laid strong roots in the community, and offers vibrant programming for young and old: Shabbat services, Hebrew school, teen events, assisted living and nursing home visitations, holiday programming, and so much more.
Now we’re taking a step forward.
We’re growing the soul of this community
Our brand new Mikvah, a woman’s “spiritual spa,” is a core element in Jewish communities across the globe and throughout history. This will be the
first Chabad MIkvah in all of Westchester County. This is sure to bring tremendous blessing to our community.
The Lounge will lend itself to intimate classes, events, and Mikvah tours, as well as teen events. With beautiful ambiance, couches, coffee tables, and a screen for multimedia use, this will be a favorite space at Chabad.
Beautification of the exterior at Chabad will encircle and unify the Chabad house, the Mikvah, and the Lounge. Old fencing will be removed, all building entrances will be enhanced with new stone walkways, and new shrubs and greenery will be planted. All this with the purpose of making Chabad all the more inviting: a place where all feel comfortable to walk in and to call their home.
